HOW TO WASH LINEN BAGS
Machine wash:
- For best results, turn the inside out and wash the bag separately from other fabrics. It’s important to avoid mixing heavy items with linen;
- Wash in lukewarm water (under 40°C/104°F). High temperatures may cause shrinkage of up to 10% and weaken the linen fiber;
- Use the gentle machine cycle;
- Use mild detergent formulated for delicate fabrics. Avoid detergents that contain substances like Sodium Borate, Sodium Hydroxide, Cellulase, Protease, and Amylase;
- Don't bleach;
- Do not tumble dry.
Hand wash:
- Fill a small container (bucket or sink) with lukewarm water and add about a teaspoon of mild detergent;
- Submerge the bag in lukewarm water and let it soak for about 10 minutes;
- Gently swish the bag around, don't twist, wring, or scrub as it can stretch the bag;
- Drain the soapy water and rinse repeatedly until the bag is clean. Hang to dry in a well-ventilated room.
